Backup issues - hogging disk space

I have 2 160 gig hard drives on my machine.

Drive c: is my main HD.

Drive G: is an identical HD that I use for backups.

Drive c: has 110 GIGS of free space

Drive g: after Noron gets finished with it has only 101 MEGS free in My Computer.

Somewhere here I read that this is a known issue and all you have to do is reboot.

Well that worked once, but now it doesn't solve the problem.

Am I the only one having this issue?

Not long ago there was another issue with Backup that prevented programs being removed from memory after exiting them.

That required a reg edit to fix.

Now this.

Where oh where is Peter Norton?

"Fix it or die trying" - that should be the motto of every Symantec employee
