beap.gemini.yahoo

Windows did an update and the reboot had "beap.gemini.yahoo" attached to words with friends.  How do I remove that?  I ran Power Eraser and it's still there.

Thanks.

Re: beap.gemini.yahoo

Um, please advise your Norton product & OS platform.

google: beap.gemini.yahoo.com is adware which once on your system will change your browser setting and default homepage. It is a non-malware program malware researches commonly refer to as a PUA or Potentially Unwanted Application.

beap.gemini.yahoo.com is an unreliable third party search provider website which has been classified as web browser hijacker infection.   beap.gemini.yahoo.com redirect virus is mainly distributed through freeware bundles.  beap.gemini.yahoo.com virus sets itself as your default homepage and search engine and hinders you to change it back. beap.gemini.yahoo.com can connect remote server to install more PUPs or rouge software.

Looks like beap.gemini.yahoo.com is offline.

Please run full scan with your Norton security solution.

Please run Threat Scan with Malwarebytes.

Re: beap.gemini.yahoo

I ran Malwarebytes and the issue is still there.  It did, however, find other things to remove.

Norton full scan found nothing.  I've reported it to Norton but will try the chat.  Appreciate your suggestions.
