Eraser finds item but only gives option to repair, rather than uninstall. If item is installed and uninstalled, cycle starts again. How do I get this completely off my computer?
Norton Power Eraser is not meant as a daily scan tool. It is an advanced tool to be used if you think you may be infected by something that your regular Norton product is not detected.
If it is only Norton Power Eraser finding this issue, I would suggest it is a false positive. NPE is extremely aggressive and prone to false positives. We suggest only running it if you really understand what files it wants to correct. It has been known to actually make a Windows system unbootable.
I would suggest submitting the files to www.virustotal.com

Completely remove "Best Buy PC App"?
Personally I find the free version of Revo Uninstaller a wonderful tool for removing applications that are visible but stubborn or known to leave bits behind since you can run it to increasing stages of search and remove BUT be cautious if you don't know what you are removing.
If you want to get it go to Revo Uninstaller Freeware and not the free trial of the Pro version.
