Can I Make 'Show All' the IS Vault Default View?

In NIS 2013 on a Windows 8 64-bit computer is there any way to make 'Show All Logins' the default view?  I've created a taskbar quick launch button that goes straight to my online vault, but I'd like it to open with all logins displayed.  Has anyone figured out how to do this?

Thanks!

Not that I am aware of, and not very secure in my opinion - anyone with access to your system could then see all your data.

What display are you getting when you log in? I just tried it from my iPad using Safari and the page opened in Display All Logins.

What browser are you using?

@ peteerweb,

My iPad does the same thing - however there is a difference between the version of ID Safe I am using on my iPad and the version that comes as part of NIS.

I was using the browser access to the Identity Safe, not the app.

I asked the OP about the browser trying to see if they were using the browser or an app.

Re: Can I Make 'Show All' the IS Vault Default View?

I'm using IE 10 browser.  When I log in to Identity Safe, whether I use my taskbar Quick Launch or Norton Toolbar, I get 'Most Visited.'  It's really not a big deal, but I'd like to go straight to 'Show All.'  It'd be nice if IS Vault remembered the last used state.

I haven't seen a Windows 8 app for Identity Safe.

Yank:  Thanks for the help, but I still have to log in using the taskbar Quick Launch button I created.  It's no different from using the Norton Toolbar, but I don't have to open IE first.

I think I understand now. You are looking to get All Logins to display when you click on the Vault Open from the Toolbar. That is not possible. If you want, you can post that as a suggestion on the Product Suggestions board here...  http://community.norton.com/t5/Product-Suggestions/bd-p/Suggestions

How did you create the taskbar Quick Launch button. What opens when you click on it?

Re: Can I Make 'Show All' the IS Vault Default View?

FWIW,  After going to https://identitysafe.norton.com/  and logging in with Safari on my iPad - there is a drop down that gives you options as to which log-ins you'd like to view as shown below.  Perhaps this would be a suggested way to add an option to the "Vault Open" drop down on the NTB???  The Default is AllLogins

Peter:

That's what I thought.  I'll submit Yank's example.

Below is something I found online; the only thing I figured out how to do was pin the Vault.  It works for Windows 7 and 8 and I can pin everything I've ever tried.  The last line is what I use for the Vault target.

What opens is a IE window with a login box if I'm not logged in; if I'm logged in the window has my login cards.

----------------------------

Right click on the desktop and choose "New- Text Document."

Change the name of the text file, and the file extension to "exe."

Right click on the file and choose "Pin to Taskbar or Pin to Start Menu."

Open Windows Explorer to the desired file. Hold down the "Shift" key and simultaneously right click. Choose "Copy as path."

Right click on the new icon in the Taskbar or Start Menu and select "Properties."

Paste the new path in the "Target" field. Choose a new icon.

The desktop program may be deleted. The changed icon may appear only after restarting Windows Explorer or a reboot.

To pin a specific website, replace "path to folder" with: "%SystemDrive%\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.  .com

For Identity Safe Vault:   "%SystemDrive%\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" symres:IdentitySafe.html

Oops- Correction:  Using my Quick Launch button, if I'm logged off it goes to a 'Vault Closed' page.

Interesting way to access the vault. I had not seen that interface before.

BTW The same symres:IdentitySafe.html will work in Firefox. I would guess it works on all browsers.
