Can Norton Block Me from Sending Email?
I’ve been using Eudora for my email for probably more than 20 years. Never found another email program that can match it. My email is separate from my ISP because the ISP I was using quit providing internet for my area but they allowed me to keep my 20 year old email address for a small fee. Recently I have not been able to send email, so I’ve been forced to use the email from my ISP. (Charter/Spectrum) I’ve been using Thunderbird, but I hate the way it works, so I downloaded the latest version of Eudora and set it up to use the email from my ISP. After spending an hour setting Eudora up the way I like it, I tried to send an email, but I found that I can download email from my ISP, but I can not send email. 2 versions of Eudora, 2 different providers. Both will allow me to download mail, but not send. When it happened with the Eudora I set up for Charter email, I began to suspect that Norton may be the culprit. Has Norton done anything lately that would block me from sending email with Eudora? I can send thru Thunderbird just fine, but I hate that program.
