Can not log in

I can not log into Identity Safe.  Says there is a network error and to check my computer's Internet connectivity.  It's been this way for several hours. 

I am here so what is the network error and as I am here so much for my computer's Internet connectivity!   Fortunately, I keep a record of accounts and passwords else where or I would not be able to log in here.   :(

Anyone else having issues?  Or better yet, a solution!

Nope... still not working for either of my accounts. I was told by Norton on Sunday evening should be working in 24 to 48 hours and to keep trying

I am now able to log in Identity Safe.   Hope the others can too.

Have you checked  https://status.norton.com/ - what did you see? 

BTW - you saying you have two Norton Accounts and Vaults?

I have been waiting for two days. I got on briefly this morning, spent 45 on hold with customer support, and now am waiting for a chat agent. It would have been nice to be notified so I could download all my passwords.

I just got the "back-end maintenance" excuse, try again after 24 hours. I suspect there is a lot we are not being told. It is disturbing this occurred, and even more disturbing Norton is not being up front about it.

We'll hope that Norton "back-end" have adequate redundancy so that outages, if n' when, are brief.   May be time to setup alternate password manager, just in case.  Just saying.

I just completed a chat-the technician took over my computer and resolved my problem.  I don't know if this will help others but that was the only thing that worked.  Apparently it is resolved so now some of us have individual problems.  Good luck to everyone.

This is suddenly happening to me on my newly built computer. I can access identity safe on all my other devices including my old computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Norton Security and it still isn't working. Ridiculous.

I was told to check back in 48 hours. That was 72 hours ago...

I've still got Trend Micro's password manager but it won't work on the sites that have now started to require you to enter the user name on one page and the password on the next...

Status.norton.com shows all green check marks...

I'm just hoping that they haven't lost all the passwords.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Norton Security and it still isn't working.

  Similarly! It does not help reinstall. I can not enter a second day, even through the site writes an error http://identitysafe.norton.com/

I have the same issue. Cannot access my data via the iPhone app, the iPad app, the norton toolbar, or logging directly into the server. http://identitysafe.norton.com/ Logging into the server just gives the spinning icon. Absolutely no data available. I am concerned trusting MY DATA to this sort of uptime. Yes I am also told to keep trying in 24 hour intervals. Frustrating

And to respond to floplot, I have tried three different browsers, safari, internet explorer, and Firefox. No joy getting access to my data from that suggestion.

Same here, waste half the day with a new laptop install. On my PC, I was always able to open the vault, while the laptop did show the mentioned network connection error. Trying http://identitysafe.norton.com/ , it tells me I don't have a vault!!

Now my (working) login on the PC is logged out for 1 hour, possible because of the errors I get on the laptop.

Very worrying at this point.

Same here. It is now the 22nd of February and I already have to do 5 days without access to my vault. I am starting to get desparate and angry. I cannot access some official governmental websites because I secured them with passwords that reside in my vault. Requesting a new password would take another week and money. I've been chatting with two different helpdeskpersons who stated both that I have to be patient, that it is a server issue and that the fault is not on my side. I am wondering if there are any legal consequences possible here. The most frustrating is that there is no estimated time of solution and there is no reliable or open communication on the statusportal of Norton. Can someone please apply some pressure?

I Used the Norton Removal Tool 3 times and then installed Norton Security again to get mine working. You have to run the tool in Administrators mode too.

I think the 3x removal and re-installation was just a coincident.

I just checked in the online page https://identitysafe.norton.com still does insist that I don't have a safe/vault at all

So at least in my case, how my vault open, when even the Norton page is telling me I don't have a vault.

I think you have to wait until Symantec finishes the maintenance of the servers. Once they are finished, then see what you have. I know you are all anxious and annoyed that this is happening with no alternative method to get it to work. I know you all need your usernames and passwords for your important sites.

Just how many weeks will this "server maintenance" be going on???? I haven't been able to log in via firefox plugin for weeks and now I cannot even log in via my android phone and logging in on the identitysafe.norton.com site tells me I have no vault. This is outrageous! We spend a small fortune to use your products, we get sucked into using some formerly great tools such as password vault, then we get denied the service for God-only-knows what reason. I see excuses like "server maintenance" for days and weeks at a time with no real resolution.

Is it time for a class action suit?

Keep Spockman! Problem with the entrance test for 8 days, the new update does not fix the problem with the input is not corrected in a safe server!

Is this still the same problem? I just started having problems signing in. It keeps try to get me to sign into my account when I'm already signed in. will not let me get to my vault.

Is this the first time you have had this problem? Can you please give us some details about your computer.? Things like o/s, Norton product and version,. browser.

There were 2 fixes released since last weekend. Some are still experiencing problems.

It's Firefox again. IE11 works without a problem, since March 3rd. FF used to work fine as well, since March 3rd, but stopped working today ("Sorry, something went wrong...").

That is absolutely not funny anymore.
