How did you "cancel" your subscription?
You can access http://us.norton.com/support where you can call or use online chat to speak to a support agent.
I just used the "cancel subscribtion" link that was on the site. I forget what page it was on, but it deactivated the account.

I'm not sure if you are aware of it or not. You can still use the free basic version of the product to monitor your child's online activities.
