Cannot add Norton 360 to my Android Phone

I had a subscription to Norton Mobile Security on my phone, and the subscription expired. I have an existing Norton 360 subscription on my PC with two licenses available, so instead of paying $40 to renew the mobile security I wanted to add Norton 360 to my phone. Easy enough.. you're supposed to be able to log into your Norton account and download the product to your device - only that doesn't work. I tap download and I'm taken to a page to download Norton Password Manager (which was already installed). I tried logging into my account on my PC and sending a link via text message or email to my phone, but attempting to install from those links again takes me to a page to download Norton Password Manger. WHY????? Why am I not able to install Norton 360 on my phone? At this point all I'm able to do is get redirected to the Google Play Store to open the already installed Password manager, or purchase a new mobile security subscription for $40 when I already have an active subscription that I should easily be able to add to my phone.

Here is the app you need for your phone. Use the product key from your subscription for activation.

Re: Cannot add Norton 360 to my Android Phone

First question is are you using the old 360 product  or did you just get 'upgraded' to the new 360 product?

If you are on an older 360 subscription, unless you specifically purchased the Multi Device version, you can only install on Windows PCs. You would need to upgrade your 360 product to the newer Norton Security product to be able to install on PCs, Macs, and mobile devices. And if you use the backup feature of 360, you will need the Norton Security Premium product.  You can contact Norton Support and ask them to help you in upgrading your product.   www.norton.com/contactcs

Once you get the upgrade, you will be able to sign into your Norton Account from the Norton Mobile product to activate the full version.

Re: Cannot add Norton 360 to my Android Phone

I have the regular Norton 360, but the subscription features say this is protection for PC and Android. When I tap download, I'm never given an option to download 360, just password manager. When I send the link from my computer and attempt to download, I get the same thing. I already tried entering my key into the Norton Security Anti-virus  and call blocking app and it says the key is not valid for that product. The only mobile apps I can find (aside from App Lock and the password manger) are the Norton Security (which I would have to pay $40 to activate) or the new Norton 360 with Lifelock. I can upgrade to the Norton with Lifelock for the remainder of my current subscription (expiring in June), but the aggravating thing is, from what I see, I ALREADY have a subscription that I should be able to add to my Android phone and tablet. I guess that is not the case, however, because the existing mobile apps do not appear to support my subscription and any attempt to install just runs me in circles dead-ending in a prompt for the password manager.

It still looks like the product you have is the older 360 product that did not support mobile devices. I cannot explain what you are seeing in your Norton account in your first image.

I would suggest contacting Norton Support and asking them to verify what subscription you have. If it is what I suggest you have, ask for an upgrade to the Newer Norton Security Premium, as I suggested in my post above.
