Cannot boot after scanning by Norton Power Eraser - Dell Visto Windows 7 64 bit

I tried to clean this desktop by Norton Power Earser, after that, it cannot boot. I tried restore but it does not work. I tried to Undo, but it does not have the Undo file in the fold so I can not do it.

Please, if anyone could help,  I'm desparate.

I've heard Quads is pretty amazing at this kind of thing.

Thanks  to all of you in advance.

I found Quads previous responses and follow the instruction, here is the FRST.txt I got after scan.

I do not whether Quads is still here or someone can help.

Thanks so much

Re: Cannot boot after scanning by Norton Power Eraser - Dell Visto Windows 7 64 bit

Sadly Quads died some time ago and is much missed in the anti-malware circles.

Hang on for some practical help but Norton Power Eraser is not for just "cleaning up"  It's a powerful tool only to be used with expert guidance and do deal with certain types of situations. It is known to be capable of destroying Norton if you don't take certain precautions first ....

Never use a tool unless you know more than the tool does, is always my advice!

Someone should be able to help you get back together.

What version of what specific Norton product do you have installed and have the key for? The Version ID is under Help / About in the format nn.nn.nn.nnn where n is a number.

Very sad to hear that Quads is not with us any more.

My situation is the Windows cannot boot after scanning. Cannot boot from Safe mode either.

My norton product is Norton Security, version 22.5.4.24

Thanks

Firstly, please do NOT try any 'quick fixes' or to solve this yourself.

It sounds like it's time to sign up for assistance from one of the free malware removal sites.  Please pick one and stay with them until your system is clean.
