cannot open Norton password manager in MS edge

I cannot get Norton password manager to open in MS Edge.  This just started recently (with the past few days), but I don't know whether there was a N30 update or a Windows update or an MS edge .  If I click on the little password manager icon on the toolbar, it says that my vault is locked and I need to open it; but if I click on the yellow "open vault" button, it goes nowhere; the message disappears, and I am left with the website I was on.  The only way I have been able to access my password manager on MS Edge is to go to the Norton website, log into my account, go to the password manager through the website, which isn't exactly convenient.  I do not have this problem on Google Chrome.  Is this a temporary glitch, or is there a problem here?  I am dependent on the password manager!  Thank you.

It seems to have been a temporary glitch.  It only occurred on Edge; had no problem with Chrome.  All the Norton permissions seemed to be in place.  Originally rebooting didn't seem to help, but today it's OK again.  Thanks.

Curious, are you -> Norton Password Manager -> Microsoft store or Chrome store?

Curious, have you tried allowing all Norton pages content -> all Norton cookies, ads, trackers, etc. 
Curious, have you tried to Sign Out (all Norton) -> clear browser temporary cookies n' cache -> test
Curious, have you tried with VPN Off -> test
Curious, have you tried to reinstall Norton Password Manager extension -> test

FWIW ~ just now tested Norton Password Manager extension Microsoft store & Chrome store from Edge.
"Open vault" okay, for me.

I had same problem. Believe it or not, it went away on its own when computer was rebooted. I think it started with an Edge update. Not sure
