Cannot turn on Secure VPN

I cannot turn on Norton VPN, the first time it gave me the response Connection Error: Secure VPN has experienced a connection failure.

When I try to turn it on afterwards, it just refreshes and nothing happens.

Re: Cannot turn on Secure VPN

Hello ,

This type of error can be created due to temporary problems with your network connection. If you were previously able to connect to Secure VPN on the same network, wait a few minutes and try connecting to Secure VPN again. Some networks do not permit VPN connections and restrict VPN access through network or firewall settings.

Thank You.

Message: "Connection Error: Secure VPN has experienced a connection failure. Please try again later."
This problem can occur if Norton Secure VPN fails to establish a connection to the VPN server. Make sure that your device is connected to the Internet.

To fix this problem, uninstall and reinstall the WAN Miniport drivers and reset the network adapter settings. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall Norton.

Re: Cannot turn on Secure VPN

I have had intermittment problems with Norton VPN connections 3 times this year over two laptops (Windows 7 and Windows 8) and over two networks (home broadband and Vodafone hotspot). Support is dire. They promise to phone me and I hear nothing. Current status is down and I have logged my 3rd fault ticket this year. There have been no changes on the two laptops. The last breakdown was on Saturday (today is Tuesday).
