Can't add member to LifeLock Advantage

I purchased LifeLock Advantage to protect myself & my partner after our wallets were stolen 3 days ago. Since then, I have tried to add him as the additional adult MANY times, but every time I get an error message. It tells me that they couldn't verify some info, but does not tell me what when I go back. I have contacted support 4 times and the only "solution" I've gotten so far is a separate free membership for my partner. While I'm glad that he'll have access to the service without us being charged twice, it would be preferable to not have to file all of the alerts and such twice or worry about what to do when it's time to renew the subscription(s). Has anyone else encountered this?

Add a member to your account
If you have a subscription with LifeLock, you can add a member at any time by signing in to your account. In rare cases, certain types of memberships cannot support adding members this way and require you to call Member Services & Support.
[...]

  • Add an additional member to your plan
  • Enroll a member whose subscription is already included in your plan

Please note that each adult family member must activate credit services with their own email address.

Get started with LifeLock Identity Theft Protection
Your identity is worth protecting. Identity theft happens when criminals use your personal information to open lines of credit, obtain medical care, file for a tax refund, and more. Norton LifeLock now helps protect your identity.

LifeLock Identity Theft Protection does not cover businesses. Our technology and service is designed to help protect individuals with social security numbers and other personal identifiable information, which businesses do not have.

No one can prevent all identity theft or cybercrime.

  • Set up LifeLock Identity Theft Protection
  • Add information to be monitored
  • Set up Alerts
  • Install the LifeLock for Norton 360 app on Android
  • Install the LifeLock for Norton 360 app on iOS

Norton 360 program protections are available to any user/s you choose up to the number of plan devices.

  • Norton 360 - 10 devices means up to 10 devices, any person/s.
  • LifeLock Identity Theft Protection features is per per person, per membership.

Everyone has a different social security number, so we have to charge per person, per membership, as this allows for each individual to receive our Million Dollar ProtectionTM Package^. If you're a victim of identity theft, LifeLock helps protect you with our Million Dollar ProtectionTM Package^ including our Service Guarantee to provide for experts and lawyers, if needed.

@whitewhisper830
My understanding:
Norton 360 with LifeLock Plan for LifeLock Identity Theft Protection ....is that you'll need an additional LifeLock membership, per additional person.
Please contact Member Services to discuss your options to add another LifeLock membership.

Please post back progress.
Thank you

Re: Can't add member to LifeLock Advantage

Well I just got this email explicitly saying that my plan includes identity theft protection for 2 people, so I don't think an additional membership should be required. When I go to the screen that asks me to add a new person, I am able to include his social security number, DOB, etc., it just isn't going through for some reason. I haven't had a chance to contact member services yet, but will try that soon. However, based on my previous interactions with support, so far it looks like my best/only bet is going to be to accept the workaround of just getting him a separate subscription.

I C Family Plan.  I C for a second adult.  I'm still thinking (correct me) a second adult gets a free membership under your Family Plan.  I'm still thinking LifeLock Identity Theft Protection features is per per person, per membership.   I'm thinking >

  • Enroll a member whose subscription is already included in your plan.
  • Please note that each adult family member must activate credit services with their own email address.

I'm not thinking a separate subscription.  I'm thinking a separate membership.
