Can't log into app (Android)

Ahoy! As the title says I am unable to log into the Norton Core Android app (version 2.10). I put in my login details (and yes, they are the correct details) and hit the go button, which then gives me a loading screen, 'page swipes' a few times, and then returns me to a blank sign-in page. Signing into my Norton account through a browser works fine. I have already tried: • uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times - without results. • logging in with the different on/off combinations of wifi, mobile data, and bluetooth. • using a different device. • doing a password reset. Hello Andrew. Power cycle your Norton Core and phone at the same time. I had an issue just before 2.10 was released where something in the app began acting like a wild child, a restart of Core fixed the issue for me. Use Blue Tooth only to try the reconnect once Core is rebooted.

Hey SoulAsylum, Sorry for the late reply, I am between two houses at the moment. Gave that a shot and no dice. Tried getting the app and logging in with my Mum's new iphone (iphone 7) and had the same issue.

So I got it working! Installed the mobile security app which prompted me to add my core subscription to a different account - then added the product key to the 1st account. Had to refresh/reset everything and set-up the core again. Then boom! working app! The thing I found the worst was how terrible it was to reset the core with the button! So for anyone looking to do this just know I had to do the 10 second hold 4 times and then unplug restart it before I could get anywhere with the app.

Thanks for the feedback Andrew, glad you have a solution. Either cloud services Core is tied too have become a wild child or firmware is corrupting somehow. Being your account seems to have been the issue, the later can be basically ruled out. Something for the Core team which we should have gotten an answer for. Not making excuses for anything but, Norton folks are having their own circus these days with Symantec having been purchased by Broadcom. I can only imagine what is transpiring behind the scenes. They, the team also know we are also smart enough on the exterior of things to figure out most issues here. Until Core breathes its final breath someone will be here to assist. Enjoy the rest of the holiday and keep it a safe one.
