Can't log into Identity Safe

I've been using Identity Safe for a couple years now and just yesterday when I tried to open the vault I get the attached message. Nothing has changed.  I am running Windows XP.  I have tried restarting the system numerous times.  I have ran a full system scan.

Re: Can't log into Identity Safe

Try clicking on Support - Get Support to run  Autofix to check your Norton installation and fix what it finds.

If that does not help, there may be something that has gotten corrupted with your installation.

Download the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool from here   www.norton.com/nrnr
If you use Identity Safe, backup/export your data. Use the CSV format for compatibility.
Run the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool.
Run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.
Try to log into your Identity Safe. If you can, you are done. If not, Import your Identity Safe data.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Can't log into Identity Safe

I never know from one moment to the next whether the toolbar will be available. I'm using Chrome (latest version), and at the moment have four tabs open. One of them shows the toolbar. The rest of them (including this one) do not. Sometimes, clicking on the Norton target/checkmark icon in the upper right will open the toolbar, but most of the time it won't.

Also, I occasionally get the message that Norton Identity Safe has crashed. Why does this happen?

Without the toolbar, the Identity Safe is inaccessible. What can I do?
