Card Comments in Identity Safe Android App

Hi there,

I started using Norton Identity Safe and quite like it. There has been the issue about the CVV field for credit cards in the Wallet having been removed for "security reasons". Whereas I don't agree with the removal, I can understand the concerns and don't mind using the Card Comments field, which is more flexible and also allows for info like credit limit etc.

However, in the Android App the Card Comments field does not show up, which makes the Wallet pretty much useless. For me, the convenience of Identity Safe is not helping me save a few seconds in filling in a form, but for having my sensitive information accessible and protected. Please have the Android app show all the same information that is available on the Identity Safe website and Norton Security programme.

Thanks

Re: Card Comments in Identity Safe Android App

There are always compromises when a PC app is developed for mobile devices. The main reason here is that the mobile devices have huge memory constraints compared to PCs.

This might be a good suggestion for the Product Suggestions board https://community.norton.com/forums/product-suggestions

Thanks for the reply. Sure, I agree, but given that previously there was a field for the CVV code, which showed up perfectly well, and they decided to replace that field with Card Comments, I would expect that it's not much of a memory constraint or development issue.

Agreed. In this case it would not be a memory constraint. Sometimes I get on autopilot and add the boilerplate answers for the restraints on mobile product development.

I can only suggest the product suggestion board at this point. A quick search should find at least one suggestion there for putting back the CVV field. You can add to that or start a new thread to suggest the Comment field at least be added.
