Is this the identical problem you reported in your June 2016 thread Norton 126.96.36.199 still full system scan termination problems where Quick Scans would run during system idles but Full System / Custom scans would not run to completion?
What is the make/model of your computer, the name and version number of your current Norton product (check at Help | General Information | About) and version andbuild of your Win 10 OS? See see the How-To Geek article How to Find Out Which Build and Version of Windows 10 You Have if you need help finding this information. Be sure to check your Norton version number carefully since at least one user recently reported <here> that they received a v22.16.3.x product update via LiveUpdate.
I have an older Vista SP2 machine that does not support the current Norton v188.8.131.52, but scans are running correctly on my machine and I don't recall seeing any recent reports the forum from other v184.108.40.206 users about ccScanw.dll errors.

I have been getting that same error for the last few weeks after my full weekly scan runs. This isn't just with Windows 10. I'm on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I think I have had this error before also. My computer is a custom built computer by Velocity Micro. Norton Security with Backup 18.104.22.168.
