Compromised network: This network is compromised by an unknown

It's back again. More or less the same 1 year ago. Very annoying. All my equipments run with Norton Internet Security. So if the below is true on my Home Network, Norton failed. Message: "Compromised network: This network is compromised by an unknown third party..." in Norton Mobile Security

Re: Compromised network: This network is compromised by an unknown

The issue a year ago affected all users of Norton Mobile Security, NMS, everywhere. What version of NMS do you have on your device? I have ver 4.4.1.4323 on my Samsung Tab A and do not see this message.

Is there any other information given about the compromise if you tap anywhere in the message?

Do you have more than one mobile device? If so, do you see the same message on all devices?

Try power cycling your router and modem. Then restart your mobile device to see if you still see the warning.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

My version is 4.4.1.4335.

The full message is: This network is compromised by an unknown third party that may view and alter your communication.

Content Tampering

Some of the websites on your device have been altered for the purpose of fraud. (and the advice to use Nortons VPN server)

A year ago with many others had the same issue, which was due to the latest update.

I found the cause by the way. Apperently this version does not like my Adquard App. A week ago I had to switch is off and fogot to switch it on, which I did yesterday

Re: Compromised network: This network is compromised by an unknown

What you are seeing is not related to the issue last year. That was a systemic issue in the app that detected all networks as compromised. Norton worked overnight to get that issue fixed immediately because it affected all users in the world.

Your issue is with a single app. Why did you have to switch it off last week?

What device and Android version are you using? And which browser? Yandex, or Samsung Internet?

Re: Compromised network: This network is compromised by an unknown

This App Adguard filters network traffic in a way that annoying advertising is blocked. It has some VPN behavior They don't block all advertising though. To read my company mail I need to use PingID. Adquard blocks their traffic and I haven't figured out what to put in the whitelist of this app Adguard to prevent this. So I need to stop Adguard to read my mail. Running Adquard was a long period not an issue with Norton Internet Security.

And your device and browser you are using?

I cannot remember the last time I had that warning. Is there a trust this network link/option anywhere? If you are sure that the network and the Adguard app are safe, you could trust it/them.
