I keep getting this popup message that a computer is trying to access an application. I have a brand new macbook pro and not sure what's causing it as I've never seen it on Windows before
Vidsify, do you use the Spotify app on your machine? That is the program attempting to connect. Most likely to check for updates. If you do not use the app consult this article concerning how to disable the app at startup or remove it entirely.

Vidsify, multicast IP address 126.96.36.199 and port 5353 is used mostly by mDNS and Banjour and most likely for iTunes. I would consider it safe based on the information provided in the linked article.
