Connection to norton authentication service has failed

I have a few android tablets Galaxy Tab and a Tablets Express Dragon Tab.

I have been tying for the past 2 days to install Family Safety on these devices with no luck.

I can get the package installed and then get to the login screen. I type my login and then i get and error banner "connection to norton authentication service has failed "

This happens on every device on Wifi and on 3g

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can you please let us know what version(s) of Android are running on the tablets Galaxy Tab and a Tablets Express Dragon Tab?

Can you please send your Norton Family account email address to me by private message via the Forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?

On the Dragon Tablets it is Android 4.3

On the Galaxy it is Android 2.3

Email address set via PM

and then nothing else

I believe the spining icon and "signing in to your account, please wait..." issue has been fixed (at least for me) as I was able to login to the Norton Family portal successfully last night.

This is still a problem. The login is not working on https://family.norton.com/ and i am still getting the same error when loading Family Safety on the Tablets

any update?

I was able to authenticate on the same model number phone yesterday (samsung 6 - sprint), and today - keep getting the error.

"Connection to Norton Authentication Service has failed."

The issue reported back in Jan 2015 was corrected then.   For the issue you are experiencing, are you getting the error message when trying to log onto https://family.norton.com?  If so, the team is checking into the issue.

I'm able to log onto the Norton Family website without any problems now.  Can you please try again to see if you still see the error?  If yes, can you please send me your Norton Family account email address by private message via the forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?

I have seen so many threads about this problem and all of the solutions are one of the admins doing a virtual session to fix it.  So that is exactly what I need so it will work on my Windows 8.1 computer!  I have tried to re-installation, I have tried using the Norton Removal tool and then re-installation, I have removed the files from the Public Downloads folder. But there is still the problem. The login is not working on https://family.norton.com/ and i am still getting the same error when loading Family Safety on the Tablets

Please help.

Can you please help me to understand the issue(s) better by explaining where you see the error , on the Windows 8.1 PC or Android Tablets?

Also, can you please send me your Norton Family account email address by private message via the forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?
