Contact Tech Support Without Doing a Scan First?

Is it possible to contact Symantec technical support, via Help and Support > One Click Support, without having them scan my computer? Are they going to scan my computer every time I want to contact them? Even if I'm not having a problem, and just want to ask a question about using NIS?

One Click Support will always check that there is no DNS problems or other network type malware that could cause connection issues.  But once that is done you can get to chat support without a deeper scan of your system.
