Copying Backup to a New Disk

I am backing up my Windows 7 computer to a old WD My Book which is showing indications, it might not be working much longer. I would like know if I can copy the backup to the new drive, then point Norton backup to the new drive to continue to backup.

I would like to just keep adding to the old backup on the new drive.

Thanks, Shawn

Re: Copying Backup to a New Disk

Do you have anything in the backups that you no longer have on your computer? If not, just set up a new backup set to the new drive.

If you do still need the old backups, I can only suggest trying before you fully retire your old drive. You could use some drive cloning software to copy the contents to the new drive. Then set the new drive to the same drive letter you used for the old drive, so you do not have to make any changes to the backup set in Norton.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
