Core renewal policy

Sorry to see after 30 years of using Norton products, that their sales dept has come up with a new policy of not allowing yearly subscriptions (I made a big mistake purchasing the Core router, wasted money).  I do not appreciate companies that feel that they have to make more work for customers by billing them every month and not allowing a yearly option.  The sales team told me that they are doing this so that they can periodically raise the price, which they could not do if billing yearly.  They said this is for my benefit so that they can pass price increases on to the customer for new updates as soon as the update is released.

After 30 years of faithfully using this companies products, I will now have to switch over to another company like ESET, so that I do not get ripped off with unwanted product increases just so that Norton can pick my pocket whenever they feel like doing so.  Sad to see a good company go to such low levels and treat faithful customers like sheep to be plucked, whenever they feel like picking out wallets for more money without our approval.

Re: Core renewal policy

Hello acayer. If you are indeed talking about the Core Router, are you aware that Norton Core is no longer being manufactured and will end support as discussed by the Core Admin in this thread? Support may have not given you spot on information.

Cheers

Re: Core renewal policy

Said to see the Core being dumped! Huge waste of money in our part! Sadly once I return to the states I’m canceling the Core, and I’m installing a REAL router, but I will continue with NAV products!
