Critical error crashing system

I kept running into an issue where my computer kept randomly crashing when running the Norton Mining.  it sometimes goes days between crashes.  Nothing shows up in the event logs but in the Reliability and problems history i find a ton of "NCrypt binary." critical errors. Its not normal for a app to crash a whole system but this problem appears to be beyond my understanding.
