It may seem arbitrary when the payouts happen, however when you hit the minimum, we take into account the current gas fees when moving the money. See here https://ethereumprice.org/gas/ for the recent history of gas prices. What you will notice is that lately gas fees have been very high and very unstable. This is causing a lot of uncertainty of when payouts can actually happen.

Honestly, if you plan on continuing to mine using Norton Crypto, I would leave the ETH in your Norton wallet until you are done mining. You are going to lose 60 to 70% in gas fees if you transfer it to coinbase as soon as you reach the payout level. The gas fee is a set fee per transaction, not a percentage. So if you are transferring $15, you will pay between $8 and $10 depending on the gas fees at the time. But if you were transferring $1000, the fee would still only be $8 to $10.
So, if you plan to continue to mine using Norton Crypto, it is best to leave your ETH in your Norton wallet until you really need to take it out.

Norton isn't worth the time or trouble. You let them use your PC nonstop to mine and then they charge you 63% on cash out to coinbase when they say flat out their fee is 15%. Went to cash out today and they literally wiped me clean of almost everything I mined. Thieves and Liars. There are mining rigs that charge you 1% FLAT to transfer your crypto to coinbase. Norton needs to stop the greed. I will be finding a new antivirus company and turning off their ability to use my setup permanently. Not worth the increase in Kw used and wear and tear on your system.

First the fee you are talking about is not from Norton or CoinBase, this is the gas fee for moving ethereum. You can check here to see the price over time: https://ethereumprice.org/gas/(link is external)

Thanks Matt, that's actually very useful information, and I was wondering about that issue. I'm not going to bother setting up any mining rig outside of Norton (purely out of convenience), but I'll wait till I have a decent amount before transferring it so I can avoid the Gas fees a few times. Thus, it doesn't matter how fast or slow the Norton wallet updates.

Gas fees may be up but Elereum value is up too so that's something to think about...it's value can go down too so if you have a lot of it, it might be best to get $$$$ before it drops in value...have to get it to Norton wallet before anything can happen though...hmm

remember everything is based on ETH not on $, so it doesn't really matter when ETH goes up or down the transaction fees are also in ETH

Yeah but some people might want to get ETH turned into dollars before ETH value drops but can't do that if ETH is not in the wallet.

Here's a screen of mine today...this pc is not EAP yet so it has the older version and it says paying out but it's not...

Given the gas fee right now of 148 gwei, we would not move $27 worth of ETH with a transaction fee of 50%, that doesn't make sense.

Hi everybody!
Looks like I have same problem, its keeps mining but no transfer to Wallet since October 17th and I'm almost twice over 0.004 minimum pay,
Is this also FN gas fee related?

I just want to know when we be should expect the payout problem to be fixed. I'm not rushing.

there is no "payout problem" AFAIK, but based on gas prices (being very high) it may show "pending payout", the updated screens (coming soon, it has been released but it will take a while to get to everyone) is a little easier to understand
