Customer support

I recently had a subscription issue that I needed assistance with, I did not want to use online chat as it was too involved to type and take the extended time chat takes. I wanted to discuss options etc. I was given a support number online that doesn't connect so I ended up having to use chat. I was given the same number by them, I tried again and told them it didn't connect. I was given another number, that also didn't connect. I asked for a local Australian office number but that wasn't available. I was then given the international support number ... that didn't connect! I was told a callback would be organised within 24 hrs, 48 hrs later I received a callback but missed it. They left a msg that they'd callback but if I wanted to deal with my need sooner they supplied a number, this turned out to be one of the earlier numbers supplied that doesn't connect. I have not heard back from them so I tried the number they rang from and got stuck in auto system asking for social security number which I don't have(not being American), I eventually was told to hold for an operator ... half an hr later I hung up. I have resolved some of my issues after spending an hour on chat and given up generally as its too hard. Totally unsatisfactory service and can't believe the situation with phone numbers ... outrageous and unprofessional. Been with Nortons for many, many years and am extremely disappointed.

Omg, I tried so many times and would not connect. Just tried again and get … your call could not be completed, pls check the number and try again. Where are you ringing from? Wonder if that makes a difference but shouldn’t. Very frustrating.

I'm not calling.  I'm only looking up the number.  I'm not in Australia.   

Curious, do you have caller ID block? 

Do you want New Zealand, US or UK phone number for Official Norton Support.

Maybe, try Chat.

Chat gave me all numbers including the “international” number, that’s presumably when I got the American auto service asking for my social security number. When I asked chat for a complaints contact they gave me a mailing address in Ireland, not complete and no email or other contact address. To be honest I’m over it now, spent far too much time getting frustrated. I did the essential of what I needed to do on chat but had wanted to discuss a cpl of things with a support person. I’m dumbfounded to be honest. Thank you for trying to help.

Maybe, Norton Community can offer Norton product help...if you care to share. 
Subscription problems are directed to Norton Official Support.
Norton Community does not have access to your subscription info nor payment info.
