Dangerous Website Blocked

I am getting a screen Dangerous Website Blocked when I try to log in to my webmail accounts

https ://2 . exchange2010 . livemail . co . uk/

https : // login . livemail . co . uk/

They have been fine up until yesterday. Support said it may be something to do with Microsoft certificates but I don't know how to resolve that ....

I am running Windows 7

Report an incorrect evaluation of a website

  1. Open your browser and go to the website that you think is evaluated incorrectly.

  2. On the Norton toolbar, click Norton Safe Web Indicator.

  3. In the pop-up that appears, click Report this site.

  4. In the confirmation dialog box, click Submit.

Re: Dangerous Website Blocked

I can see the Norton Safe Web in the Norton toolbar but the pop up box doesn't give me the option to Report the site. See attached screen print.

Hmm.  Thanks.  Maybe documentation needs update.  Thanks.

Okay.  I'm also curious why Norton users don't use False Positive report wizard.

Re: Dangerous Website Blocked

Hello bjm

That's not used for websites. Safe Web is for websites. False-positives are used for files. If you send websites to False positive team, they just have to pass it along to the Safe Web Team. I deal directly with the Safe Web Team.

Thanks.

Hello bjm
That's not used for websites.

 I use "wizard" for websites.

Re: Dangerous Website Blocked

From bjm_'s link

Report a Suspected Erroneous Detection (False Positive)

Use this "wizard" to tell us about a situation where you believe that a Symantec or Norton product is incorrectly reporting a clean / good file or website as being a threat or malicious in some way.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Identity Safe data.

Re: Dangerous Website Blocked

Hello

From the same wizard.

Your answers to these three or four questions will help us get your report to the correct internal team to quickly review your report.

Will help us get your report to the correct internal team...The websites get passed along to the Safe Web Team. bjm has posted reports previously that were signed from the Safe Web Team. They sounded very formal to me. I asked the Safe Web Team and he said that's how it's worded when it comes from False Positive. Why send it to False Positive for them to pass it along to Safe Web, when I can do it directly? Please don't tell me it's because I'm not an Employee...

Thanks.

Hi

We have manually analyzed your site '
livemail.co.uk ' and found it to be clean so we have changed its rating to green.

Hi bjm,

I've received a message from Console Ops saying that they have manually analyzed the site ' livemail.co.uk ' and found it to be clean and have changed its rating to green. I've tested the login and everything is fine.

Thank you so very much for your help in resolving this - I really am grateful to you.
