Dealing with "Duplicate" installation data in Norton Studio?
My Norton studio installations list shows two instances for the same machine! This past year I made NETBIOS name changes in Windows 10 to try to get my router to display the proper list of devices. Somehow Norton Studio thinks the same device represents two separate "installs" of Norton Security. I have three computers and two phones set up under my contract, and all are apparently being monitored, but Notron Studio has a "ghost" of a past install listed. I have three different Microsoft accounts installed on each of my computers, think of them as "yours" "mine" and "ours" for a married couple. These conventions were established before the current generations of software existed. They go back almost to the DOS days!
How do I "remove" an erroneous instance in my install count without inadvertently "killing" the protection of one of my devices?
