DeepInsight updates not working

    Forum Message: Case# [Removed]: Using Norton Security.app Ver. 7.2 on a MacBook Pro with OS 10.12.1 (Sierra). 

1). brings up the error message “The Norton DeepSight Community list could not be downloaded” after going to Norton Security/Advanced/Firewall/settings. The best that multiple discussions with Norton Tech Support (including extensive screen sharing sessions) was that they felt I should let the community forum help out. Does anyone have a suggestion on this problem.

2) When logging on my MacBook after renewing my Norton product now I get the error message asking to allow connections to the “Belkin Router Helper” (Helper not Monitor) plus separately “Openexec” and “Openinfo” I have allowed these connections after research, still even using the Mac System Preferences Security and Accounts area I can not get these error/request messages to stop popping up. Does anyone have this problem and is it malicious?

I am having the same issue. I've tried completely disabling the firewall in norton and macos with no benefits and it did not solve this problem. I will continue to look for a solution and will respond with my findings.
