Default Messaging app shows "No Messages"

I had a previous topic under the same heading, but it shows locked.

I still have this same issue on 2 Samsung Galaxy S4 on Verizon.

The issue is that when the default messaging app is used with Norton Family enabled to view messages, after some time (no set time or messages, just random) the default messaging app when opened shows "No messages"

Reboot the phone and all the previous messages are now shown and the app works for some time.

Then it will start the "No messages" again. Another reboot and the process continues.

This issue does not occur if the default messaging app is set to Google Hangouts.

Re: Default Messaging app shows "No Messages"

Thanks for the update.  I'll report this to the team.

Please make sure you have the latest Norton Family 3.4.3.29 installed.    To find if you have the latest version, please go to your Android device, click Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> Norton Family.

Thanks

Also, our engineer team would like to know if you faced similar issue prior to Android lollipop update.
