Delay in Receiving Activity Logs

There is a long delay before the logs of my children,s activities are being sent through (approaching 2 days now and no log).  I have checked the time on my profile and that is correct.  Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks.

Re: Delay in Receiving Activity Logs

Hi chickenwings,

Norton Family servers allow a certain amount of logs per day. If it exceeds the remaining logs will get pushed to the next day. This could be the reason you see the delay.

Thanks for the reply.

That makes sense but the protection does not seem to be working properly.  It says the kids are online when they are not and offline when they are online.  The activity is just not showing up at all in some cases.  I have double checked their PCs and phones and Norton Family is installed correctly and active.  It makes it impossible to monitor what the kids are doing which is the whole point of buying it.

Any other suggestions?

The time block is also not working.  My son was online this morning when he was supposed to be blocked.

chickenwings,

You said "It says the kids are online when they are not and offline when they are online.".  Can you please tell me where you see the message or indication that "the kids are online"?

For time restrictions, we show 60 seconds alert window thrice a day irrespective of completion of daily allowance or during curfew hours.  For rest of the day, it will directly display Extend time dialog.  If users make soft restriction, then Restriction alert box alone get displayed.   It won’t display any 60 seconds or extend time window.  Is it what you are seeing when time is up?

Thanks

Katie
