Delete account but still got charged for subscription

I delete my Norton account but didn't cancel my subscription in 2021. Today I received an invoice from Norton charging me $499.99. I try to contact customer support to cancel the subscription but all requires me to authenticate my account, which doesn't exist anymore. What should I do to get help? I live in Vietnam so I couldn't phone them directly.

Re: Delete account but still got charged for subscription

A $499 charge sounds like a scam going around lately. The get you to contact them to get the refund and when you give your banking information for the refund, they end up making withdrawals to clean out your account.

As SoulAsylum noted, never click on links or call numbers given in an email. You should make direct contact with the company involved.
