Delete devices

I understand the capability to delete them does not exist right now. I read that devices automatically are removed after 30 days of no use. I have several that have been on the inactive list 60 days. (Inactive = Previously on your network) First, it’s important to allow for manual deletion/removal. I’ve seen others ask for this. I have roommates who use the Guest Network. When they move out I want to remove them from the inactive list.

Re: Delete devices

Hello DebBeee Indeed this feature has been put to the development team more than once since Core was released to the public. I have made direct contact with the program admin about it as well. Unfortunately, creature features are not high on the priority list for whatever reason. The focus has been removal of firmware issues and DNS stability going forward. When/if there are features added to the Core firmware you can be notified by subscribing to these threads: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/norton-core-firmware-update-release-notes

Re: Delete devices

Hello DeeBeee Following up. Understanding you were moving my suggestion would be to factory reset the Core as if it were new. Making sure you first write down all your passcodes to the networks you had previously beforehand. I HOPE there will be a firmware update soon to remedy this issue as it is absolutely needed.

Re: Delete devices

Hello DeeBeee Core firmware has updated to version 237. I regret having to report no fix was introduced to manually remove devices having formerly been on the network. This one is my pet peeve as well since I use my network to perform work for many customers. Please let us know how you are doing and if we can assist further.

Cheers

Hello

My 2 sons and I received new Android cellphones about 40 days ago. Shortly after the 30 days were up, all 3 old Android phones disappeared. My devices are listed as they should be.

Have a Good Night and
