Deleting or reassigning a device in Core app

Is there a way to delete a device from the Core app?  Also, can a device be reassigned from Shared to a Person and vice versa?

Hi @jayarr7 - I'm not following what you're asking.  In the app there's a list of devices currently and previously on your network.   You're wanting to delete it from that list?  No, there's no way to do that.

You CAN assign devices to people.
Click on People
Then either Add a person or select the person.
Scroll down to the list of devices assigned to that person, and click on the three dots, "Assign devices".
Then you'll be able to monitor that person's activity on those devices.

Got it.  Is there a similar function for the "shared device" list?  I have a device that was automatically assigned to a person, but it should be assigned for share.

Re: Deleting or reassigning a device in Core app

Hi @jayarr7 - The steps are nearly the same as earlier.

Click on People
Click on the person the device was automatically assigned to.
Scroll down to the bottom where it lists the devices assigned to the user, and swipe that device to the left.
That should then show the red Remove button.
Click the button and it should automatically move that device back to Shared.

Let us know if that works for you.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: Deleting or reassigning a device in Core app

We just had visitors to the house and I wish to remove them. I understand the capability to delete them does not exist right now. But as I see my security score continue to drop, removing temporary devices should be a feature worth considering.
