Deleting a program In Norton Program Rules

If one deletes a program in NAV

 Internet Worm Protection>Program Rules

Does that cause a problem? I thought I read on here once that if you delete a program from

internet worm protection>Program Rules, that if it is needed it will come back and ask what you want to do ( allow, dent, auto)

Re: Deleting a program In Norton Program Rules

Norton will ask you about programs that it has no rules for IF Norton needs clarification on what to do.  If the program / process clearly falls into a suspicious activity, Norton will take action on that automatically.

It won't cause any problem. When you remove the program from Program Rules, all the settings for that program in firewall will be lost. When it requires internet access, you will be prompted to set the settings for it again.
