Device names in My Account don't match actual names

When I logon to my Norton account, and view devices to which I have allocated licenses, the device names do not match the actual Windows 10 names. Devices have been renamed in Windows since the initial Norton install. Some of my license are assigned to dead devices, but i do not know which ones I can delete. When I go into the Norton admin tools on the laptops, I can not find where the "Norton" name for the device is...

How do I match the "Norton device name" to the "Windows Device Name"? so I can clean up my licenses.

Re: Device names in My Account don't match actual names

There are numerous threads here about the functionality of the Norton Account web site.

If you click on My Norton at the top right of the page, then click My Subscriptions, the devices listed there should match the Windows names.

Last I checked, if you open your Norton Security product and click on Help - About, the name that shows on the devices page should show in that window.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
