The device was locked in allowed hours

I have Norton Family installed on my son's Samsung Galaxy phone.  Yesterday and today he was locked out, that he had reached that day's authorized time limit.  Yesterday I thought it was perhaps a possibility, but today, he had not been up for that long.  When I look at apps or web, nothing matches the anywhere near the time allotment.  Could something be wrong?  My other son's device (which is the same) is not experiencing the same issue.
