Re: disable facebook icon on toolbar

Hi Oldham,

In version 21.2.0.38:  Toggle the Safe share to OFF - it is shownin the OFF position now while the Safe Search is shown as ON

If you are on a different version, please let us know and we'll add more info.

Interesting Yank what you show under the 3 balls.  Understand my issues with the buttons and multiple logins not showing are not mine alone with Firefox and that Norton is supposidely working on that issue.  In addition, when I click the 3 balls and a box does show up, there is no indication of safe search and no place to activate it.  The only tool bar option is to Enable Safe Web and in addition, while it shows that for browser extensions both IE and Chrome show as everything OK, for Firefox, shows that status cannot be determined.

Just trying to provide more symptons of what ails the Norton Toolbar.  There are certainly enough issues based on the people reporting that Norton must be concerned that the toolbar simply is not ready for prime time!!!!!

Re: disable facebook icon on toolbar

Hi David - FWIW, the screenshot was taken in NIS - I do not have a system with N 360 - but do have a system with Comcast's NSS (a clone of N360) and all I have is the Safe Share option - I haven't seen the Safe Search option (nor the Safe search box) in months on that system.

Interesting Yank as I did have both on/off switches showing when this new toolbar was first created and when I recently re-loaded a full version of Norton 360, the Safe Search notification with on/off switch did disappear.  Really appears that there are numerous issues depending on the Norton Software type.

Perhaps is trying too hard to create different versions of the identity safe tool bar and would be better served with a single toolbar that actually performed for everyone as expected and avoid the numerous issues that have surfaced since the major upgrade to a toolbar that was working fine.  Getting rid of all the bells and whistles and providing a working toolbar should be their goal.
