I noticed that Windows SecurityHealthService is running in the background on my new Dell Inspiron 3670 Desktop. Do I still need this if I'm also running Norton Security?
Unless you are very familiar with Windows services and functions, you should not be changing any Windows Services settings. That can cause strange behaviour on your system.
It could also affect Norton, because Norton does use Windows APIs and services to provide protection for your system. If you disable the wrong service, you could be reducing your protections.
All: Here is a great Microsoft article on things which can be done, more over the reasons for NOT doing so.
