How do I downgrade my Norton/Lifelock subscription to just Lifelock?

Just to clarify. You want to drop your device anti virus product and just keep the LifeLock credit monitoring service?
If you are paying monthly for your subscription, you can contact Norton Support and have them cancel the automatic monthly renewal. If you paid an annual subscription, if you are beyond the 60 day refund period, all you can do is ensure that the Automatic Renewal is turned off for your subscription and let it run out. You can uninstall from your systems if that is what you want.
If it is the other way around, ie you want to stop the LiveLock credit monitoring service but keep the device anti virus, you still need to contact Norton Support to arrange that.

I have an annual subscription. I am ok with waiting until it is time to renew for the downgrade to occur.
Yes, I want to drop the anti virus product but keep the LifeLock credit monitoring service.
It seems with the solution you offer of turning off the Automatic Renewal and letting it run out that I would also lose LifeLock, no?

Yes. you will lose both services. You will have to sign up with LifeLock after your current subscription expires. Try contacting LifeLock support and see what they suggest to transfer your accout. https://memberportal.lifelock.com/support
