download insight
this weekend I started noticing that Norton security 22.14.2.13 that download insight is no longer working, I mean when I download a file such as a EXE it no longer gives me a pop up message saying if it's ok or no. and it no longer records in the system logs for Norton under the section download Insight that a file was downloaded at all. IT does this on two computers that I've tested so far.
so far, I've tried uninstalling NS reinstalling it, uninstalling it running the clean up tool, reinstalling NS with no history of past install.. still same problem. because this is happening on two desk top computers that never talk to each other No file sharing. I sort of guess this is a Symantec problem. could someone confirm this.

count that three computers now, all running windows 7 64bit

thats strange, I just got a pop up testing a download from malwarebytes. but yet when I download something from adobe flash site, I get none. is that because I may of downloaded that file before?

go thru Norton Setting.... try reset to Default and / or to your preference + machine Restart

Having the same... The only different - I have records in Security History but can't see popups anymore...
