this weekend I started noticing that Norton security 18.104.22.168 that download insight is no longer working, I mean when I download a file such as a EXE it no longer gives me a pop up message saying if it's ok or no. and it no longer records in the system logs for Norton under the section download Insight that a file was downloaded at all. IT does this on two computers that I've tested so far.
so far, I've tried uninstalling NS reinstalling it, uninstalling it running the clean up tool, reinstalling NS with no history of past install.. still same problem. because this is happening on two desk top computers that never talk to each other No file sharing. I sort of guess this is a Symantec problem. could someone confirm this.
