Duplicate Device entries in My "People"

Well, I've been waiting on a call from a tech which never arrived. the Core has been particularly wonky lately. May need to use the wifi at McDonalds soon. Quite annoying. In the mean time, here's yet another new Core issue. If I try to remove devices from a "People", I have to remove each device twice. It's as if there are two copies of each device in a table somewhere. From my point of view, with all the issues I've had since buying the dome on 3/31/2018, my Core hardware or software is clearly corrupted in some way. And needs to be replaced by Symantec with a new unit. I I mean, I've had half a dozen Core issues already. And most of them remain unresolved.

Re: Duplicate Device entries in My "People"

Hello Mickey. I had several issues since the last firmware update that reappeared as well. Knowing this was the solution for me and MAY NOT be a welcomed solution for you, my solution was to reset the Core to factory defaults. When onboarding I did NOT tell setup to populate the settings, devices and people stored in the cloud but rather started anew. The default is YES as shown in the screenshot below. Core is good as new and the old data was removed vice restored. Just a thought for you.

Mickey, I'm following up to see if the suggestion for resetting Core took care of your issues.

Re: Duplicate Device entries in My "People"

I was having so many problems with my old Core that Symantec decided to send me a new one. Greatly appreciated. The new Core performs well.        Thanks for checking.
