DVDVideoSoft (Premium) web site Warning probable False Positive

URL https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http://sc.dvdvideosoft.net/te...

I have a long standing Premium Subscription to DVDVideoSoft for FreeStudio products which I use regularly for video editing and management of certain multimedia files, including uploading or downloading assets for my YouTube Channel.

"YouTube Download" (Premium Licensed version) failed with an unexpected error trying download my own video just uploaded to YouTube but I had inadvertently deleted the local source file. While the error is rare, I normally fix it by  updating one or more FreeStudion components.

The post thickened when I tried to download the an update from DVDVideoSoft.  I clicked to download but no UI appeared nor did a download commence. Selecting the site's option for the direct manual download link still produced no result.

When I maximized the DVDVideoSoft Download Page Norton Safe Web posted WARNING, flagging the site Malicious and blocking any and all downloads from my trusted vendor. Safe Web reported 26 viruses, despite the current Safe Web Community Rating of generally Trusted. Based on my prior experience with Safe Web and DVDVideoSoft I strongly believe this is a False Positive and ask that you investigate it as such.

In the past, Safe Web machine triage has given False Positive Warnings and  blocked downloads for new DVDVideoSoft App update URLs.

Yes, appears Safe Web is blocking 'dvdvideosoft.net' and blocking download from 'dvdvideosoft.net'.

http://ic.dvdvideosoft.net/FreeYouTubeUploader.exe

and Safe Web is blocking downloads from 'dvdvideosoft.com'

and a moment later after closing 'Malicious Download Detected' notice.

We'll need response from Symantec/Norton Safe Web team.

Well, dvdvideosoft.net reported Safe, at this time.

Downloads from dvdvideosoft.net may not be reported Safe, at this time.

YMMV

Problem fixed. DVDVideoSoft Apps pages and downloads marked Safe. App updates can now be downloaded and Norton Scan Safe. Web Safe automatic scan algorithm needs updating to reduce false positives for new DVDVIDEOSOFT app updates.
