Dynamics CRM Dashboard hang with Norton add-ons enabled in IE11

For about the last week, any time I access a customer's corporate Dynamics CRM system, I get pages taking about 30 seconds to load. This only seems to happen with their Dashboards and only happens if the Norton IE Add-ons are enabled.

This is getting very irritating. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have another browser you can test with? It could be browser related.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Yes. I've tried with both chrome and edge. As the title says, this is an issue in IE11.

If this is only happening with IE, what other add ons do you use?

Yes, this is only happening with IE11. Chrome is fine. I have other add-ons, but before posting here, I disabled the add-ons one by one. The problem went away as soon as I disabled the Norton Add-ons.

Yes I tried deleting the temporary internet files and all windows 10 updates are done.

I've discovered that the issue happens with Yammer as well, not just Dynamics CRM.

After further time spent exploring, I have found that the issue seems to only happen if I have two particular add-ons enabled:

  1. Norton add-ons
  2. LastPass add-ons

If I disable either, the issue is resolved. So given that I've been using LastPass for years and Norton is new, maybe the Norton engineers can explain why there could be a conflict between these two?

The issue might be you have 2 different programs trying to do the same thing. It's like having 2 different antivirus programs installed and running them both at the same time... They end up being in conflict with each other...

I am not using Norton's identity (it is switched off in the settings).
