EAP Sign In

Q: does EAP 22.8.512.29 require user Sign In to function as intended....e.g., to gather telemetry.

Not specific to EAP but generally the team recommends having it signed in but not mandatory.

But for signing up for the EAP the customer needs to be signed in so the EAP updates are downloaded.

Yes, It is recommended the customer is signed in to get all the functionalities to work as expected.

Um, is Sign In recommend, EAP 22.8 specific e.g., new EAP functions/features.
I've not aware, lack of function with (as I use) Traditional 22.8 not Sign'd In.
