Edge update added Defender

The Edge update that was present when I turned on my Windows 10 computer this morning included an active Windows Defender. Can I still safely operate Norton Security without the two interfering with each other? If not, which should I disable? If I should disable Defender, how do I do it? Thanks. Mutter, mutter. Hacked by Microsoft.

Post screenshots of what you are seeing. microsoft changes things so often (and so undocumentedly) that it's impossible to keep up with the changes (and botches).

bjm_ if I may. The windows defender security center partially runs alongside your Norton install to catch anything in the event your Norton becomes disabled. PeggyN, you are as protected as every and they are both compatible with one another.
