En cas de questions, veuillez créer un fil de discussion...

For some reason, I seem to have started receiving messages in French...

No big deal, just a little strange...

Cheers and... Happy Holidays!

I take it you are subscribed to the Product Announcements Blog. I too saw that French post notification. The forum admins are working on filtering these announcements to the appropriate language boards.

Thanks, peterweb.   I was afraid some kind of faulty ID could end up in the hands of Santa and spoil my season with presents being accompanied with cards in... French!?!... I would understand them but they would be likely to loose some more closer-to-home, familiar flavor...

Happy holidays!

Oh, well... At Symantec, they must be up on a mission towards multiculturalism...

Now it's in German.

I just rechecked my source. If subscribed to the Product Announcements, you will see announcements in English, French, German and Japanese. Norton has decided to post all product announcements in the same blog area in each of these languages.

Nothing we can do at this time. Just ignore those 3 extra emails.

Oh, yes... Out of the great respect I have for you, I certainly will.

Fine. But please allow me to let off some of the pressure that comes from my great disappointment with some decisions that keep periodically coming out of the pinnacles of Symantec, such as this last one. In just two words:

- Simply inspiring!...

Happy Holidays!

Can anyone remember the web sites they were visiting when these messages popped up? Please break up any link you post with spaces between dot and com.

I would gladly do it if I could and I'm sorry I can't be of any help. But your question leaves the impression that there might be some more stuff behind these odd events than it was originally led to believe, or is it just in my imagination?... Anyways, for me, as user and a customer, like I said from the beginning, the eventual (hopefully temporary) appearance of these dislocated messages is not a big deal. Worse than such odd appearance is, in my opinion, the odd response of some Symantec representative...

Please disregard my last post. It was meant for another thread.

No issue. I just regret that it means we'll have to stick with your previously relayed option taken by Symantec's decision makers...   But we'll survive, I'm sure...

Happy holidays.

The last few posts have been non English. Just wait and you will eventually see English. Usually the English post is first, then the translations appear over the next few days.
