Erroneous status indication...

Can any SymEMP please explain why the "Browser Extensions" section status display on the "General" tab of the "Identity Safe" applet is indicating that the Chrome plugin is not installed when it obviously in fact is?

Obviously I'm not an employee. But the notice says 'Not installed/Status Error' .

Have you tried disabling the Norton add ons in Chrome? Restart your computer. Then restart Chrome, and re enable the add ons to see if the status changes.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Thanks for the suggestion Peter - I hadn't thought of giving that a try until your suggestion.  So I did - unfortunately without any change.  The good news however, is that the plugin seems to be nonetheless and otherwise fully functional...just unable to report its condition to the status monitor for some reason.
