An error occurred while unlocking your desktop vault

I have used Norton Password Manager on my PC and Samsung Cellphone for years and 'suddenly' started getting this message on my cellphone the other day when clicking on the 'approve' key which pops up - Unlock Desktop Vault 'An error occurred while unlocking your desktop vault, Please try again later'.  This now comes up every time I click on the 'approve' key and I end up having to manually enter the password on my PC. In the past, it came up the odd time, but now it's every time.

Anyone have any ideas what may have caused this to start all of a sudden after working perfectly the last few years ?

Just an FYI follow-up ....  I uninstalled the app from my cellphone and reinstalled it. It seems that now it works 'sometimes' .... I also get the error 'An error occurred while unlocking your desktop vault' and 'dismiss' message sometimes still.
