Even with Browser extensions this shows up.

I get this scam popup up which tends to change according to the browser and the operating system, it looks like it is legit and of course we know it isn't.   Sadly even with the SafeWeb extensions, installed this continues to be annoying as it just won't go away so the browser needs to be closed and restarted.

I wish there was something for the Mac that would allow the user to add something to block these annoyances, but alas  nothing.

I need a real solution.

Here is the URL and   screen shot.

Re: Even with Browser extensions this shows up.

Hello Weatheraardvark. These are instruction for posting screenshots into the forums. Much easier than downloading and opening a PDF externally. Following your link below is what my Norton install blocked.

The link is indeed malicious. Clear your cookies and cache in your browser, that should clear this from appearing again. I didn't get any Safe-Web notices just from the Norton network protection itself.

Edited: This is what Safe Web reports for that URL

Cheers
