The forum page survey poll will help us measure our content quality, and take measures on how to improve our platform & performance.
The current implementation of the survey poll will be such that, it will pop up only once in one browser session. Once the customer responds to the survey, the survey notification will not be shown until the next browser session.
For now, we have enabled the survey for non-logged in forum accounts only, i.e. customers who browse the forum without logging into their accounts.

This so-called "survey poll" is just another annoying, useless pop up from Norton. How does simply counting the number of Yes vs No clicks provide any measure of content quality or provide guidance on ways to improve the forum?
It might make more sense to invite users to take a few minutes and complete the Norton Community Forum Customer Feedback Survey where they can provide basic feedback about why they visited forum and whether their question was answered. This is the same survey users can access from any web page on the forum.

Okay. I can confirm (that this time) i was logged out and the pop-up displayed. What i was thinking, when i clicked 'Yes' that my problem was resolved, maybe it would be helpful if a subsequent window opened to let you explain to Symantec Engineers how your problem was ultimately solved. Perhaps that would give them more insight.
Sincerely,
H.B.
